Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Their Italian beef with onions, green peppers and mozzarella cheese is consistently wonderful. Not salty like most. Great people work here. Pleasant and wanting to give best customer service, even when the place is bustling with phone orders and pickups. Wish their outdoor tables were located away from rt 14 traffic, which is hardly ever quiet.

Jimano's is a mini-chain based out of suburban Chicago; they started in 1997, have about a dozen locations and have started franchising. Their first Denver, CO location was named the best pizza in the city by a local television station after only four months of operation. They have the requisite Chicago accompaniments on the menu, including Italian beef and other sandwiches, hot appetizers, salads, ribs, and pasta. They offer both dine in and delivery, catering, and most locations offer online ordering. They have their own app to facility your order. They state that they have a commitment to using the highest quality ingredients. They offer a daily special which is quite economical - for instance on Monday you can get a 16″ pie with up to five toppings for $16.99, and that can result in a savings of 25% or more. I took advantage of the Monday special, stopped in a store, ordered, and waited 10 minutes or so for the pie to be done. The store employs a 'carousel' type oven, which I had heard of, but not seen. With multiple decks revolving like a ferris wheel, running off gas or electricity, carousels let you pack a whole lot of baking capacity into a small footprint. Jimano's thin crust pie was great. The cracker thin crust has a hint of cornmeal, the pork sausage was very flavorful, the sauce was not overpowering, and the cheese in a unique blend. A heavy dose of herbs finishes off the pie. If I lived in the Chicago area, Jimano's would be one of my regular go-to pizzas, for sure.

Had my first pizza from here yesterday after my recent fiascoes with Rosati's in Cary. The pizza here is Deee-lish-ous! I have a new pizza place! The pizza had a great flavor to the sauce, a great balance of cheese to other toppings and they cooked it perfectly when I asked for it to be 'well done.' (I like the cheese browned.) The crust was perfectly thin and crunchy, too. You have a new loyal customer!

Last night we decided to order from here due to our first experience being very good. THE FIRST TIME we ordered pizza, they took a coupon found on their website over the phone for a call in order. I specifically call in just to make sure the order is done properly and so I don't have to rely on the website to transfer the information. LAST NIGHT, we tried to call in our order, using the exact same coupon as last time, and were told that order can only be placed online in order for the coupon to be valid. We also were told that we couldn't pay cash unless we ordered via phone. So we decided to order online considering the coupon was such a good deal, and I couldn't have been more disappointed. After waiting an hour+ for the pizza to be delivered, the delivery man only had one of our pizzas. He proceeded to tell us he would go back and get our second pizza and be right back. He didn't come back with our 2nd pizza for another 45 minutes, and when I opened the box the cheese was smeared all over the inside of the box and half of it wasn't even on the pizza. It was also cold. I don't blame the delivery driver for running late, it was a Sunday night and I'm sure he was busy. But i was very upset with how the employee in store spoke to us on the phone, and the fact that they sent out 1 pizza when we ordered 2, and we were told that the ONLINE orders weren't being processed properly so they didn't even know that we ordered a 2nd pizza. I was all around upset with our experience this time around. Most likely won't order from here again.

Ok - the thin crust pizza is good. But for THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, they NEVER cut it pie cut, even when I request it EVERY TIME. Cutting pizza in squares is stupid. But if it's your way, fine. But when I ask you to cut it pie cut, please do it!! Now I have to find a place that actually listens to their customers.

They've got better! Service is great and the extra thin crust pizza is very good as well! Based on the competition I'll give them a 4.

Jimanos is probably my favorite restaurant in Fox River Grove. There pizza is the best pizza I've had in a very long time. I order from them at least once a week. Usually you would think that a pizza place would only be good for there pizza. But Jimanos has great ribs, beef, and meatball sandwich's. I would recommend that everyone try them out. Its kind of hard to find. But once you find them you wont stop going there. I guarantee it.
